BGSU’s annual Dance Marathon is back to raise money for the local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

The marathon will be Sunday, April 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Perry Field House.

The theme this year is “The Magic of Miracles” involving inflatables, carnival games, face painters, balloon artists, caricatures and free food.

The event has 12 hours of onstage entertainment in order to raise the money necessary to help change the lives of children.

Guests can register for the event by going to the Dance Marathon bio on Instagram.

Those who cannot make the event in person but still want to donate towards the cause can show support by donation through the Dance Marathon website.

Earlier this month, Dance Marathon at BGSU attended Bowling Green High School’s Bobcat-A-Thon to support the purpose of the event.

The high school raised $7,672 for Nationwide Miracle Network Hospital in Toledo, according to the group’s Facebook post.
