BGSU’s Undergraduate Student Government is holding elections to select its new senators, vice president and president through noon this Thursday, March 30.

The USG is an active student politics group at BGSU that listens to and solves the issues and concerns of the undergraduate student community. All undergraduate students are encouraged to vote for their representation.

Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates Emily Gerome and Carly Hitchcock want voters to know that “with [their] extensive experience in USG, [they] have the knowledge and resources to move our campus community forward.”

Gerome and Hitchcock are running uncontested in the election.

Damon Sherry is one of the students running for Senator at Large.

“BGSU has been my home over the past three years and my roots are deep here,” said Sherry. “I made a family here, and I want to make sure that BGSU is found better than when I got here so that more students can call this place home.”

Election results will be announced March 31 at 3 p.m. via a university-wide email.
