Various Artist Compliation

Fans of the hit WB Drama, “One Tree Hill,” will greatly appreciate the second volume of the television show’s soundtrack.

A few of the artists spotlighted on this soundtrack include Audioslave, Nada Surf, Citizen Cope, Mozella and Fall Out Boy.

Songs that stand out include “Missing You,” a remake by Tyler Hilton that was originally recorded by John Waite; “23,” a driven power ballad by Jimmy Eat World; and “Halo,” sung by Bethany Joy Lenz-Galeotti, the actress who plays Haley.

The CD contains upbeat selections, such as “The Mixed Tape,” which is reminiscent of Ben Folds, and slower indie-sounding selections such as “Light Years Away.”

There is no need to be disappointed, because this compilation has the potential to live up to the success of the television series in which it is named.
