Sunday

12:32 a.m.

The odor of marijuana was reported coming from a room in Conklin, and alcohol was found in the room and was dumped out. Hall staff will handle the situation.

12:45 a.m.

Amber Bretland was cited for two counts of assault on a police officer and one count of menacing in Offenhauer East.

4:04 a.m.

A Rodgers resident requested an ambulance for a friend who bumped her head while dancing off-campus.

4:19 a.m.

Bowling Green police called requesting truck from the fire department to 209 S. Summit with a report of open burning. A Christmas tree had caught on fire, but was self-extinguished before firemen arrived. Four other trees appeared to be waiting to be burned. Occupants were told no open burning is allowed in the city and told to find an alternative way to dispose of trees.

8:21 a.m.

Michael P. Dragar, 23, of Painesville, Ohio, arrested for public indecency after he was reported exposing himself as people arrived at the Church of the Nazarene on Gorrill Road. His bond was posted at the police station.

8:41 a.m.

Car reported stolen from a South Mercer Road parking lot. It was later determined that the owner’s friend moved the car, so it wouldn’t be towed.

9:17 a.m.

Credit card, ID and jacket reported stolen at a North Main Street bar.

9:35 a.m.

Windshield of a vehicle parked on West Gypsy Lane Road reported smashed, causing $200 in damage.

10:07 a.m.

Rock reported thrown through the living room window of a Clough Street home, causing $200 damage and breaking the window.

10:08 a.m.

Windshield of a vehicle parked on Brookwood Drive reported smashed, causing $500 in damage.

10:45 a.m.

Rear passenger side window of a vehicle parked on Frazee Avenue reported busted, causing $50 in damage.

10:59 a.m.

Purse reported stolen at Sky Bar on North Main Street.

11:23 a.m.

Caller reported her wallet was stolen on Napoleon Road. The wallet was eventually found, but her credit cards were missing and someone attempted to use one at a Perrysburg gas station.

1:01 p.m.

Laundromat owner came to the station to report damage to equipment and furniture at his East Wooster Street laundromat.

1:02 p.m.

Man came to the police station to report he was conned. He reported he was sitting in front of Dollar General on South Main Street when a man got into his vehicle and said he was district manager of all Dollar General stores. The unknown man had the complainant fill out a slip of paper and asked for his name and zip code. On Saturday, the complainant said his credit card company called.

When he looked for his credit cards, he realized two were missing.

1:17 p.m.

Woman reported her iPod was taken on North Enterprise Street.

1:38 p.m.

Front door of a North Grove Street apartment reported broken.

2:39 p.m.

Coke machine at City Park reported dumped on its front.

6;02 p.m.

Dollar General employee called to report an elderly customer had credit cards stolen last Friday. A man approached the elderly man’s car, claimed to be a business representative and said if he shopped at Dollar General often he could get him a discount. The unknown man asked for identification and had the older man fill out paperwork. When the man laid his credit cards on his leg while he looked through his wallet, the employee believes the man stole the credit cards.

8:03 p.m.

Glen Paul Myers, 36, of West Millgrove, Ohio, arrested for criminal trespassing after he was observed moving into a vacant North Main Street house. He was taken to Wood County jail.

9:42 p.m.

People reported trying to break a fence between Varsity Lanes and Varsity Square off of Gypsy Lane Road. Police were unable to locate them when they arrived.

Monday

12:09 a.m.

Ryan L. Jones, 22, of St. Henry, Ohio, arrested for disorderly conduct at a North Enterprise Street apartment complex after he failed to answer the door for several minutes when police arrived to warn him about a loud music complaint.
