– Municipal Administrator John Fawcett brought Ohio Magazine to the attention of the council. The magazine named Bowling Green as one of the top five Ohio hometown cities.
– Planning Director Rick Ketzenbarger distributed a brochure to council members concerning snow removal. The brochures will soon be issued to residents. The city has hired a company for snow removal. Homeowners are to have sidewalks clear 24 hours after it stops snowing. He explained this is “an aggressive approach to get sidewalks clean” and to keep people from walking in the streets. The sidewalks around school are the major target areas due to children walking to school.
-Public Works Director Brian Craft addressed fall leaf removal. The city is making progress with the leaf pickup and they will cycle the town until all the leaves are down.
