March 6, 2009
Goodbye, Cleveland Indians. Hello, Bowling Green Falcons. The Chain O’ Lakes Complex in Winter Haven, Fla.-the former spring training home of the Indians-is welcoming the Falcon baseball team tomorrow for their spring trip. The Falcons, who are still winless at 0-6 this season, will play eight games in eight days during spring break, beginning tomorrow when they play Fairfield at 3 p.m. At one point in time, BG has played each of the teams they are facing. With their prior success against the teams they will be playing, the Falcons will try to put all aspects of the game together and put some games in the win column.
