The Ray Browne Conference on Cultural and Critical Studies will be held this weekend, Mar. 17 to 19.
The theme Intersections of Identities: Difference and Coalition in a Transnational Context will be demonstrated by keynote speakers Staceyann Chin and Laurenn McCubbin.
Chin is a spoken-word poet, performing artist and LGBT Rights Political Activis; McCubbin is a large-scale installation artist and documentarian.
The conference is hosted by the University Popular Culture Scholars’ Association and the Culture Club: Cultural Studies Scholars’ Association.
