How to become a DJ

Max Lowther and Max Lowther

Do you have a passion for music? Do you want to further your experience in music and make connections in the music industry? Now is your chance. Join one of the most involved music organizations on campus, WBGU-FM!

Come to room 410 in the Kuhlin center on Monday Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. and join us for DJ info night! This is going to be a short informational meeting which will be covering basic topics about the stations and what we do. We have numerous opportunities which you can get involved with and even have the opportunity to receive scholarships and attend big music industry events.

88.1 WBGU-FM is the on-campus radio station, which has a lot of awesome opportunities to meet musicians, get passes to events and get hands-on experience in the music industry while all having the opportunity to get a scholarship while doing so. This DJ info night is a no strings attached meeting, you can come, hangout, and see what the station has to offer. By attending, does not mean you are fully committed to the station. Just an information session to see what college radio at BGSU is all about!

The music industry is difficult to get involved in without the right connections. WBGU-FM gives you the opportunity to get involved and make the connections you need to succeed in the music industry after graduation. If you are interested in pursuing a music industry career, whether you are interested in marketing, production, or on-air talent, WBGU-FM has a position for you!
