Dr. Brent Nicholson, 56, an associate professor of legal studies and the Hamilton Endowed Professor of Entrepreneurship, died Saturday from complications of heart attack he suffered while at work.
Nicholson taught at the University since 1989 and was one of the founders of the entrepreneurship program in the College of Business Administration. He was a past chair of the legal studies department and held a law degree.
Friends will be received Dec. 7 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, according to an e-mail from the University.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church, 2600 Copland Blvd., Toledo. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
