Kylee Furar is a freshman exercise science major and has recently been selected to take part on the U.S.A. Cheerleading Team.
Furar has been involved in cheerleading since she was 3 years old. She has spent countless hours in the gym training and working on becoming the best she can be.
“I realized how amazing of an experience it was gonna be and being there made me want to work my hardest and prove to my coach that they choose the right person,” Furar said about her first experience in Memphis, Tennessee, for the first work weekend of the U.S.A. National Team.
Furar said when coming to BGSU she never imagined being selected for the U.S.A. National Team, even though she always watched the team perform. She is very excited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and she cannot wait to meet new people from other countries. Furar is ready to go down to Florida for training in three weeks.
