Once more, my course, Creative Writing Thesis Workshop under Professor Amorak Huey, was instructed to present our favorite […]

Rapid Fire Pizza will open on South Main in December

A new pizza shop will be coming to Bowling Green this December.

Rapid Fired Pizza will open five minutes away from the University on 816 S. Main St.

“We felt Bowling Green was a great community and was a market we just had to be in,” Co-founder Kelly Gray said.

There will be seating for 100 people who can order from a menu including thin and pan pizza, eight sauces and cheeses, over 30 toppings and 14 dipping sauces. The pizzas will be cooked in 180 seconds.

Additionally, there will also be custom salads in addition to breadsticks and desserts.

“We were looking for easy access for students, residents and area professionals. Plus with our new online ordering system, it will be easy to skip the line and have your freshly made pizza or salad ready for a quick bite between classes or on a lunch break,” Gray said.

The first Rapid Fire Pizza opened in September of 2015, and the less than one year old franchise now has 14 open or under construction stores and 13 in process.

Less than 1-year-old, Rapid Fired Pizza has 11 locations under construction or open with the signing of this location. Opening dates will continue to be announced on the website. A typical Rapid Fired Pizza location employs 20-30 people.

The addition of Bowling Green location, stores will soon be opening in Kettering, Beavercreek and Cincinnati. The total stores under construction or open is now 14 with an additional 13 locations in process.

“Because of our simplified operations and low cost of entry, we’ve experienced tremendous growth over the last few months and are preparing to bring an amazingly good, amazingly fast pizza to other states in the very near future,” Ray Wiley, a co-founder, said. “We have a strong team that is dedicated to building the Rapid Fired Pizza brand.”
