Spring Housing Guide

Women’s golf heads to Va. this week

The women’s golf team will be making its next appearance of the spring season this weekend with a two day tournament at William ‘ Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

This trip marks the first time the Falcons have competed at William ‘ Mary and they will make the trip with five golfers.

Senior Shelley Binzel will look to continue her season’s success that has seen her finish in the top five twice with a win and fourth place finish in the fall season finale. She along with Jenny Schnipke, Stephanie Elsea, Kari Evans, and Julie Wise will look to improve on their recent 15th place finish in Tampa.

Coach Kurt Thomas commented on how the team was disappointed about their finish in Tampa, but know they can improve and will work hard to better the finish in Virginia.

“We are looking for improvement right now and want to play better than we did in Tampa,” said Thomas.

The tournament will be March 29-30 as the Falcons continue there spring season.
