A note from the director: BGSU vs Green Bay WNIT game to be broadcasted remotely on WBGU 88.1 FM

Steve Iwanek, Sports Content Director, Falcon Media Sports Network

Hello,

After their exciting first round win on Thursday, BGSU Women’s Basketball is ready to face Green Bay in the second round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament on Monday at 7 p.m. in Wisconsin.

The Falcons defeated Liberty at the Stroh Center, 87-80, while Green Bay cruised to an 84-52 win over Niagara on Thursday as well.

Falcon Media Sports Network commits itself to providing consistent radio content to the Bowling Green community, and the organization is thrilled to have another game to call this season with the team.

However, due to the distance of the trip, along with financial and other logistical concerns, the broadcast of the game on WBGU 88.1 FM will be a REMOTE call from the studios of the Kuhlin Center on the BGSU campus.

As the director of the organization, I make the promise that we will continue to strive towards having the highest quality coverage possible. But, there are days and moments that do not go your way, as we saw on Thursday night at the Stroh with connection issues related to ethernet.

Understand that we are working as hard as possible to resolve these issues for the rest of the school year and into the following year. We apologize for any inconvenient experience and appreciate your interest in listening to BGSU Women’s Basketball on WBGU 88.1 FM.

Brandon Loe has the call of the game beginning at 6:50 p.m. on Monday night.

We hope to have you join us for another night of exciting basketball, and as always: Ay Ziggy Zoomba!

Regards,

Steve Iwanek
