Former Colorado men’s basketball junior guard Javon Ruffin is transferring to Bowling Green.
Ruffin is the fourth player to transfer to the Falcons, joining Troy Glover II, Jason Kimbrough Jr. and Josiah Shackelford.
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 5.6 points, 2.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game in 33 contests and 10 starts last season. He shot 37.1% from the field, 31.5% on 3-pointers and 78.8% on free throws.
Across 75 games played and 12 starts over three seasons with the Buffaloes, Ruffin averaged 4.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He also tallied 35 steals and 12 blocks in his career at Colorado.
The New Orleans, Louisiana, is a career 38% shooter from the field, 32.6% from beyond the arc and 82.9% from the charity stripe.
He was ranked the top high school player in Louisiana by 247Sports in 2021.
Ruffin was born in Lleida, Spain, and his father, Michael, played basketball collegiately at Tulsa and nine seasons in the NBA for six teams.
