Kickoff times and broadcast designations for BGSU football’s first three games and two MACtion matchups in November were announced Thursday afternoon by the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
The Falcons will open their season against Lafayette on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. at Doyt Perry Stadium, with the Thursday matchup airing on ESPN+.
Then, Bowling Green’s Sept. 6 matchup against Cincinnati will begin at 3:30 p.m., also airing on ESPN+.
Additionally, BGSU’s homecoming game against Liberty at Doyt Perry Stadium will start at 5 p.m. and will also feature a broadcast on ESPN+.
For conference games, Bowling Green’s contest against Akron at home on Tuesday, Nov. 18, will start at 7 p.m. and air on either ESPN2, ESPNU or CBS Sports Network.
Finally, BGSU’s battle on the road against UMass on Tuesday, Nov. 25, will air on either ESPNU or ESPN+, with a kick time to be announced at a later date.
The MAC Championship game will officially return to Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions, on Dec. 6, with kickoff set for noon and the broadcast slated to be aired on ESPN.
Following the first three weeks of the season, game times and TV network selections will be announced by the conference weekly, with the MAC’s television partners making their decisions according to a 12-day notice, beginning Monday, Sept. 8. MAC television partners also have the right to utilize a six-day selection notice on a limited basis throughout the season.
