Last Friday, Firefly Night Fest lit up Main Street in Bowling Green, bringing the community together for an evening of celebration. The event featured a lively mix of food trucks, local vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Residents of all ages (joined by members of the BGSU community including Freddie & Frieda Falcon, president Rodney K. Rogers and his wife, university advocate Sandra Earle, and Vice President of Athletics Strategy and Athletics Director Derek van der Merwe, as well as coaches and members of the Athletics staff) came out to enjoy the festive atmosphere, making it a memorable kickoff to the summer season and a great way to support local businesses.
