The Circle K international is an on-campus organization that focuses on service, leadership and fellowship.
The group tries to do “as much community service and volunteering as possible, to help out the community and the world,” said Ashley Shelton, president of Circle K international. The group regularly does volunteer work for a food pantry called Food for Thought in Toledo.
Circle K International meets at 6:30 p.m. in room 318 in the Union.
Shelton said there are 16 official members and many students who come to the group’s events.
The Circle K club is always looking for more members to help spread “service with a smile,” she said.
“You can officially say that you are a part of Circle K and it looks really good on a resume,” Shelton said. “Any kind of major is welcome, it doesn’t take anything special to be in, you just have to be willing to work.”
