Bowling Green men’s basketball traveled to Convocation Center, in Ypsilanti, Mich. where they faced Eastern Michigan on Wednesday night. This was a rematch of a game earlier this month where the Eagles defeated the Falcons 56-51 on Bowling Green’s home court.
The Falcons dropped their second straight game 69-57 tonight in Mid-American Conference play.
The Eagles were in control from the start and had a 39-29 lead at halftime thanks to Glenn Bryant who had 26 points and 10 rebounds. Bowling Green tried to battle back, but could never come back from the slow start in the first half.
Richaun Holmest led the Falcons with 20 points, which is the fifth time he has done so this season. Senior Cam Black had 10 rebounds, which was a team high.
The Falcons will resume play this Sunday at 2 p.m. against the University of Buffalo, where they look to get back to .500 in MAC play.
