Six sworn in at last USG meeting

Three off-campus, two senators-at-large and a legislative chair were sworn in at the last Undergraduate Student Government meeting Monday night.

USG Speaker Ebonee Johnson said she looks forward to working with them.

“I enjoyed talking with almost all of you guys in your interviews,” she said.

In his report, President Victor Senn told the senate they should study Ohio House Bill 160.

The bill would ban professors at state schools in Ohio from requiring students to purchase books they themselves had written, or books the school in question would gain royalties from.

In her report, Vice President Danielle Parker said she will be meeting with Director of Recreation and Wellness Steve Kampf Friday to discuss extending hours at the Rec Center.
