After a few weeks of “winter break,” it seems we’re starting spring semester with some spring-esque weather. The Falcons have yet to see blankets of snow surround campus, but seem to be satisfied with their lighter layers. Archie Kimbrew, known as Bowling Green’s very own Mac Miller, rocks a neutral tone ensemble consisting of a Zoo York top, BKE leather jacket, Levi jeans and Polo Ralph Lauren kicks. Archie describes his personal style as a way to express himself, or “Swag.” His favorite early spring trend to rock includes his collection of light flannels and boot cut Levis. He predicts spring will be filled with Ray-Bans and snapback hats. As most fashionable Falcons know, the fashion industry is always six months ahead of the public. So while we’re bundling up in winter coats and scarves, Chanel and Just Cavalli release their spring/summer collections. If you’re like me, clothes obsessed on a college budget, then start your search for spring trends now. Girls, keep an eye out for high waist denim, floral patterns and strikingly bold patterns. Guys, spring scarves and v-necks are going to be popular this season. Check back next week for a fashion-filled Pulse section of The BG News, and stay fashionable, Falcons.
