Beginning with Suzuki lessons at the age of six, Chicago-born Casey Driessen is no stranger to the fiddle and violin.
A Berklee College of Music graduate, Casey received a degree in engineering and music production.
His inspirations include all sorts of music, from bluegrass to Tibetan Buddhist chant, giving his music a worldly sound.
Each tune is mellow, yet stimulating and refreshing.
There is also an element of Irish fiddling tunes in songs like “Snowflake Reel.” Songs, like “Sally in the Garden” and “Gaptooth” have a rock influence. “The Confusion Before Dreams” is reminiscent of a Dave Matthews’ song.
