Remembering the anniversary of Roe v. Wade
As our nation approaches the 33rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, it seems that many of the “next generation” on campus do not realize the significance of this decision. Please take a moment to read the following quotes:
“America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts–a child–as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience,” said Mother Theresa as quoted in The Wall Street Journal.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb… My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139: 13-16.
