BGSU Firelands is offering a $0 tuition degree path for new and transfer students with need who enroll for Fall 2023.

According to BGSU’s press release, the Firelands Grant is a renewable four-year scholarship that covers the remaining balance of education and general fees after the Federal Pell grant is applied.

Full-time students at BGSU Firelands campus in Huron who are also Ohio residents and eligible for the Federal Pell Grant are eligible for this scholarship, the press release says.

“An accessible education supported by a college committed to student success has always been our focus,” BGSU Firelands Dean Andy Kurtz said. “Keeping the BGSU Firelands education affordable has and will remain our promise to the region.”

According to the press release, Firelands will remain affordable for students who do not qualify for the Firelands Grant with thousands of dollars in scholarships yearly and low tuition for Ohio residents.
