Zillow released its rankings of Most Popular Markets in late 2022, marking Bowling Green as one of the top three best college towns. 

Bowling Green is behind top-ranked Tempe, home to Arizona State University, and Smithfield, Rhode Island, home to Bryant University. 

According to the press release, Zillow analyzes ZIP Codes and defines “college towns” as cities with at least 20% or more share of college students based on the 2021 U.S. Census data. Zillow looks at the number of rental listings, median rent list, rent growth and rental page views to create their list. 

BSGU is currently No. 1 in Ohio and No. 1 in the Midwest for the third year in a row as the public university students would choose again for their education in  The Wall Street Journal‘s 2022 Best Colleges in the United States list, the press release says. 

BGSU was also been ranked No. 28 and the top Ohio university in College Values Online’s 2022 list of the 50 Best Small College Towns in America.
