The Bowling Green softball team lost 4-2 against the Western Michigan Broncos on Tuesday.

The Falcons are now on a four-game losing streak since losing the series against the Ohio State Bobcats this past weekend.

The Broncos started off strong as they took an early lead in the first inning.

WMB senior Courtney Farrish scored both runs after sophomore Payton Kelly put runners on second and third base.

Bowling Green was able to respond quickly as BG junior Maycee Godbolt singled through the right side of Bronco infield to score.

In the third inning, the Broncos expanded their lead with a sophomore Taylor Wolfe single followed by a junior Addison Hudson walk.

The Falcons scored their last point in the sixth inning with a BG junior Reagan Williamson walk.

Broncos won 4-2 as the Falcons trailed the whole game.

Williamson had a good night as she reached base three times and went 1-for-1 with a pair of walks.

A doubleheader between the Falcons and the Broncos is set to take place March 29.

The first game will start at 11:30 a.m. and the second game will start a few minutes after the conclusion of the first one.
