Event to support firefighters invites public to attend

The Leadership BG Class of 2023 invites the public to support Bowling Green Firefighters in a Touch-A-Truck fundraiser.

The event is on May 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bowling Green Community Center.

Admission is a suggested donation of $10, with all proceeds going to The Bowling Green Firefighters Community Benefit Fund.

The City of BG said the fundraiser is free and allows children of all ages to have a hands-on opportunity to interact with vehicles and people who build, protect and serve the BG community.

Vehicles include

Fire Trucks
Ambulance
Police Cruiser
Trash Truck
Utility Vehicles
Wood County Sheriff MRAP truck
Semi-truck provided by Whiteford Kenworth

Participants can learn more about the BG Firefighters Community Benefit Fund, their work, and annual fundraising events and donate online.
