Summer self-care, THRIVE promotes mental well-being

An BGSU organization is hosting multiple programs, free of charge, to promote the mental well-being of students, staff and faculty at the university.

THRIVE is hosting a Summer Well-Being Series that will consist of three discussions. The programming has both virtual and in-person options to attend.

The first of the three series, Finding Time for YOU in a Busy Life will be held Monday, May 22. According to THRIVE, the discussion will focus on time, values and priorities.

Being Your Own Best Ally Through Self-Compassion will discuss a persons tendency to be their own worst critic. The organization will host the second discussion Tuesday, June 13.

The final scheduled discussion is You Matter – Prioritizing Yourself Through Self-Care. According to THRIVE Friday, Jun 30, those interested can work through an action-based plan to develop sustainable routines.
