Athlon Sports has announced their preseason All-Mid-American Conference selections, and their list features NINE Falcons. 

Here is a look at who made the lists.

All stats from 2022 unless noted 

Second Team: 

Odieu Hiliaire (Wide Receiver) 

• Top 15 in conference for receiving yards (747), top 10 in TDs (9) 

Ta’Ron Keith (Special Teams) 

• Fourth in MAC in kick return yards (491), second in yards per return (27.3) 

Third Team: 

Demetrius Hardamon (Linebacker) 

• Top 15 in conference for sacks (6) 

Fourth Team: 

Terion Stewart (Running Back) 

• Top 25 in rushing yards (412 in 9 games in 2021)

Austin Osborne (Wide Receiver) 

• Will see more opportunity with key WR departures 

Kameren Stewart (Offensive Lineman) 

Anthony Hawkins (Defensive Lineman)  

• Top 10 on team in tackles (35) 

Jordan Oladokun (Defensive Back) 

• Top 25 in passes defended (8), led team 

Darren Anders (Linebacker) 

• Third on team in tackles (77) 

Jhaylin Embry (Kick Returner) 

• Top 10 in kick return yards (260), fourth in yards per return (23.6) 

This isn’t the first nod given by Athlon for some of these names, as Hiliare, Stewart, and Embry all earned preseason All-MAC honors prior to the 2022 season.
