Lauren Prochaska, BGSU Women’s Basketball’s all-time leading scorer and a two-time Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, is set to be inducted as a member of the 2024 class of the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Plain City, Ohio native joins a group of 12 that is part of the 2024 class, which will be inducted on April 20, 2024 in Columbus.
Prochaska’s accomplishments are impressive; as not only is she BGSU’s all-time leading scorer, she is also second in MAC history in three-pointers made and third on the conference career scoring list. She was also named the MAC Freshman of the Year following the 2007-08 season.
During her four years at BGSU (2007-11), Prochaska helped the Falcons to an overall record of 110-25, including a 55-9 record against MAC opponents. While with the orange and brown, BGSU won four MAC East Division titles, two conference tournament titles, and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments, as well as two WNITs.Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022.
She was inducted into the BGSUProchaska joins a list of fellow Falcons in the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame, which includes Harold Anderson, Jeanne Arnzen Gulick, Al Bianchi, Antonio Daniels, Jimmy Darrow, Bill Fitch, Howard “Butch” Komives, Keith McLeod, Jackie Motycka Mossing, Don Otten, Mac Otten, Charles Share, Nate Thurmond and Fran Voll.
