BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – City of Bowling Green officials announced that the Historic Preservation Commission has been awarded a Certified Local Government Grant (CLG). This grant will give the city of Bowling Green the chance to enhance the downtown area with historical signage.
The city of Bowling Green wants to continue committing to preserving the heritage of Bowling Green, so the point of this signage project is to educate residents on the city’s rich history. The new signage will showcase landmarks, events as well as important individuals who shaped the city overtime.
These new signs will be implemented throughout the next year by The Bowling Green Historic Preservation Commission. The city hopes to create a connection between the present and the past of the city.
