A man was killed in a single-vehicle fatal crash on I-75 in Bowling Green Tuesday morning, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
The Bowling Green Post of the OSHP reported the crash occurred at approximately 6:43 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Officers say David F. Collins, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Officers reported Collins drove off the right side of the road, behind the guardrail, and hit the bridge support pillar of the overpass on Devil’s Hole Road. The impact of the crash caused the engine to separate from the vehicle, catching nearby grass on fire.
No further details were given at this time. This incident remains under investigation.
