Bowling Green Men’s Golf placed 16th at the Virtues Intercollegiate hosted in Nashport, Ohio on Monday and Tuesday.
The University of Michigan won the tournament, outscoring second-place James Madison University and George Washington, who tied for second by 23 strokes.
Finishing 56 strokes more and 15 places behind Michigan were the Falcons. BG only had one finisher shoot under par, which was Tom Bell, who shot -2 over the two days, earning himself 21st place.
Thirteen strokes more than Bell was the next Falcon on the leaderboard, junior Luke Evans, who shot 11 over par and ended the 36 holes in 68th place.
Two spots behind Evans in 70th place was Brady Pavernik, who concluded his tournament by shooting 12 over par. Another top 75 Falcon finisher was junior Darin Hudak, who finished in 75th place, shooting 13 over par.
Wrapping up the Falcons was senior Brandon Rattray, who finished in 83rd place and shot 19 over par.
The Falcons are back on the links on Oct. 2-3 for Cleveland State’s Tom Tontimonia Invitational.
