Bowling Green tennis encountered another obstacle in their rivalry against the Toledo Rockets, known as the Battle of I-75.
Despite their determined efforts, the team had a hard time keeping up with the competition.
Sunday was a hard loss for the team at Toledo today, with two doubles matches slipping through their grasp, and one match ending with an incomplete.
Transitioning into singles, the Falcons faced a similar uphill battle, with the scoreboard showing one win among six matches. Tia Clemens fought through the adversity, winning with a 6-1-6 score against Toledo’s Gaby Rondon.
The last matchup score dates back to April 23, 2023, when the Falcons fell to the Rockets 7-0.
Women’s tennis will take on their next competition, the Buffalo Bulls, in New York, Friday, March 29.
