Bowling Green head coach Todd Simon landed his first player this offseason from the PAC-12, with sophomore guard Wilguens Jr. Exacte on his way to Bowling Green from the Utah Utes.
Exacte is the fifth player to transfer to Bowling Green, joining Braelon Green, Youssef Khayat, Javonte Campbell and Marcus Johnson.
The 6-6 Montreal, Quebec, Canada native started all 32 games for the Utes last season, averaging 3.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.
Last season, Exacte averaged 11.8 minutes per game and went 18-19 from the free throw line- 94.7% from the line, the highest free throw percentage among Utah freshmen of all time.
Before playing for Utah, Exacte attended the NBA Academy Latin America, a basketball training camp located in San Luis Potosi, where elite basketball prospects from Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and Central South America train.
