Bowling Green women’s soccer has announced the signing of sophomore defender
Kaley Simqu, putting a stamp on the first signing of the Chris Fox era.
Simqu is transferring to BG after spending her freshman season with the Pittsburgh Panthers, who had a successful 2023 season, earning 17 wins and a fifth-place finish in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Simqu played for Plum Boro High School, as well as Pittsburgh Hotspurs as a center-back and defensive midfielder.
Simqu becomes the fourth sophomore defender on the roster and will look to help guide Bowling Green to their seventh Mid-American Conference (MAC) title when the team kicks off their season in just two short months.
