Bowling Green women’s soccer announced that a new assistant coach will be joining the squad, former Morehead State player Kate Larbes.
It will be the first experience coaching at the college level for Larbes after five years as a midfielder with the Eagles, where she played in 68 career games and amassed seven career goals from 2019 to 2023.
Larbes accumulated multiple accolades in her final season as a player including the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) tournament MVP and spots on the All-OVC First Team and the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Team.
The Cincinnati native will be coaching alongside her former head coach, as new Bowling Green head coach Chris Fox played the same role at Morehead State in the final two years of Larbes’ career as a player.
Larbes will be joining Kerry Edwards in the role of assistant coach with Bowling Green and will look to assist the Falcons in their pursuit of their first Mid-American Conference (MAC) title since 2021.
