Bowling Green women’s basketball and second-year head coach Fred Chmiel has announced the full schedule for the 2024-25 season.
The Falcons will open up the season at home against Southern Miss on Monday, Nov. 4, at the Stroh Center as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.
At home, Bowling Green will host St. Bonaventure, Xavier, and Marquette before Mid-American Conference (MAC) play begins. The Falcons will also travel to Detroit Mercy, Cleveland State, West Virginia, Ohio State, and Duquesne during non-conference play.
For the second straight season, The Falcons will compete in a Thanksgiving-week tournament, this time BG will head down to The Sunshine State in Daytona Beach, Fla. with opponents to be announced.
Bowling Green begins MAC-action on the road against Kent State on New Year’s Day and later hosts Eastern Michigan on Jan. 4 for their first home conference game.
The Orange and Brown will travel to Toledo for the Battle of I-75 on Jan. 25 and will host the Rockets next month at the Stroh Center on Feb. 22.
BG will also play their second game of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge on the road on Feb. 8, with the opponent to be determined.
The Falcons close the regular season with a trip up to Ypsilanti against Eastern Michigan on March 8th.
Chmiel and The Falcons will also host Wittenberg in an exhibition game on Oct. 30 at the Stroh Center.
