Former Bowling Green women’s basketball forward Kadie Hempfling has been named an assistant women’s basketball coach at Ohio Northern, the program announced on Thursday.
Hempfling, a two-time Third Team All-Mid American Conference (MAC) honoree, ranks first in career games played (155), fifth in games started (122), sixth in assists (432) and eighth in rebounds (809) in Bowling Green history.
Hempfling was a two-time captain with the Falcons and helped guide the team to the Fab Four round of the 2023 Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) in her final year wearing the Orange and Brown.
She graduated from Bowling Green with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2021 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2023. Hempfling has spent the past eight months as a personal youth basketball trainer in Northwest Ohio.
