Former Undergraduate Student Government (USG) President Heidi Gasser has stepped down from her presidency. Former Vice President Elyse Adrian has assumed the presidency role, as confirmed by the new President Elyse Adrian.
Adrian took to LinkedIn to confirm their ascent to the presidency.
“Last week, I was sworn in as the new President for Undergraduate Student Government at Bowling Green State University,” Adrian said in an Oct. 7 post on the social media platform. “I have served in USG for four years and three of them on the executive board. I am committed to improving the student experience at BGSU and ensuring all voices have a seat at the table (and getting AC for Kreischer). I look forward to all of the projects, initiatives, events, and meetings we have lined up for the semester.”
There is still no word as to why Gasser stepped down.
