Bowling Green tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List as part of the award’s first in-season revision.
The Biletnikoff Award, named after former Florida State and Oakland Raiders standout receiver Fred Biletnikoff, is awarded to the nation’s top pass catcher, regardless of position.
Among the other additions are San Jose State wide receiver Nick Nash, Maryland wide receiver Tai Felton, Troy wide receiver Devonte Ross, and TCU wide receiver Jack Bech, per the award’s Twitter/X page.
Fannin Jr. currently leads all FBS tight ends in receiving yards (541) and receptions (37). His 541 receiving yards currently lead the Mid-American Conference (MAC), and are good enough for sixth in the country, just 20 yards behind Colorado two-way superstar Travis Hunter.
Fannin has the opportunity to build his resume for the Biletnikoff when the Falcons face off against the Akron Zips to open MAC play on Oct. 5.
