Interested in watching puppetry? On Oct. 2 at 7 p.m., the Bread and Puppet Theater will present “The Beginning After the End of Humanity Circus” at The Wolfe Center for the Performing Arts Terrace Lawn. This is a free and open-to-the-public event.
The Graduate Student Theatre Organization (GuSTO) is renowned for its sponsorship with the Bread and Puppet Theater to bring this production to BGSU. This will be their first performance at BGSU and Ohio.
Bread and Puppet Theater was founded in 1963 by Peter Schumann on New York City’s Lower East Side. They combine puppetry, theater and social commentary for their shows. It is one of the oldest nonprofits in the country while being a political theater company. It runs in America and other countries.
