Junior forward Brett Pfoh has received the first weekly CCHA award of his career following the first regular season series for BGSU Hockey (2-0) in Mercyhurst, receiving the CCHA Forward of the Week award after an impressive opening weekend.
Pfoh recorded two goals in one game for Bowling Green. He lit the lamp in the second game to open the scoring, then capitalized on an overtime effort to win the game 5-4 and remain undefeated.
His two brought him to 13 career goals, and his final was the fourth game-winner of the junior’s career. Pfoh was also able to complete the 2-weekend points on only three shots, the most efficient of any player in Orange and Brown.
Pfoh and the Falcons next battle Robert Morris at home on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Slater Family Ice Arena. If you cannot make the game in person, tune into the radio broadcast on WBGU 88.1 FM with Ben Corak.
