Just 13 days before their season officially starts, Bowling Green men’s basketball finished fifth in the men’s basketball Mid-American Conference (MAC) preseason poll, the conference announced on Tuesday morning.
The poll features all 12 MAC teams, and the ranking is as follows:

- Bowling Green (73)
- Miami (OH) (72)
- Ball State (67)
- Central Michigan (55)
- Eastern Michigan (36)
- Western Michigan (33)
- Northern Illinois (24)
- Buffalo (11)
Last year, the Orange and Brown tied for sixth place with Miami in the preseason poll.
The Falcons are coming off a 20-14 season, with a 10-8 record against the MAC and making the MAC tournament for the first time in three years.
Bowling Green’s season officially begins on Nov 4, when they travel to Reed Green Coliseum to face Southern Mississippi.
