He joins fellow Falcon Sam Craggs in the forward group of Toledo, the ECHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings (NHL) and Grand Rapids Griffins (American Hockey League (AHL)).
Nodler was a one-year forward for Bowling Green, transferring from the University of Massachusetts (UMass) following a 27-game, two-goal and three-assist campaign in 2022-23. His BG stats included five goals, 10 assists and 14 blocks, being one of the best centers and faceoff winners on the team.
His first stop, Michigan State, brought him similar success. In his final and best of three seasons with the Spartans, Nodler accumulated seven goals, eight assists and a .119 shooting percentage while playing all 36 games.
The center was drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Draft, 150th overall, by the Calgary Flames. The Oak Park, Michigan, native was named to the 2018-19 United States Hockey League (USHL) All-Rookie Second Team after one season with the Fargo Force while also being named Fargo’s Rookie of the Year.
