The Bowling Green Tennis team had a successful day on the courts, sweeping Lourdes University, 7-0. The Falcons only dropped a collective two sets throughout the matches.
The Falcons sent four newcomers to compete against the Gray Wolves, accounting for multiple impressive performances.
The duo of freshman Sumejja Plicanic and senior transfer Ellie Hire dominated their doubles matchups, 6-0, 6-0. The first (Brynn Chaffee and Isabella Norris) and second (Konstantina Adamopoulou and Leticia Fonseca) BGSU doubles teams also prevailed, earning an extra point for the Falcons.
Bowling Green dominated the singles slate as well, taking all six points. Newcomers Plicanic, Hire, and Adamopoulou continued to execute, all winning 6-0.
Next up, the Falcons will compete at the ITA Conference Masters in San Diego, California on Nov. 7.
