Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose recently visited BGSU to speak about voting in the upcoming election.
LaRose took part in the TEDx “Democracy Panel” and spoke on getting students and faculty more civically engaged. The panel was part of BGSU Votes’ weeklong “Democracy for the Public Good,” a series of events related to civic engagement and political participation.
LaRose and his office are responsible for overseeing elections in Ohio and making sure Ohio elections are transparent. At the event, he spoke on what they do to ensure this happens.
Election Day nationwide is Nov. 5.
