Bowling Green Hockey’s Dalton Norris has been named the Defensive Player of the Week after his performance against Michigan Tech.
Norris netted his second goal of the season on a powerplay in the second game against MTU, also adding an assist for a hand at both goals scored by the Falcons on the weekend. Norris is up to two goals and four assists on the season, already up above half of his total point total in the 2023-24 campaign.
This is the second time this season Norris has been named the DPOW, joining Breck McKinley, who won the award two weeks ago. With Brett Pfoh’s week one Forward of the Week, the Falcons have had a weekly honoree in four of the nine weeks of the season.
The Falcons next play in a series in Minnesota State against the Mavericks on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and 7. The Falcon Media Sports Network and voice of BGSU Hockey, Ben Corak, will have the call on both nights on Falcon Radio on Saturday and WBGU 88.1 FM on Sunday.
