Over the past few days hours, three Bowling Green football players have entered their names into the NCAA transfer portal.
K Alan Anaya put his name into the portal early Wednesday morning. The junior from Queretaro, Mexico played in four games in 2024, serving as the team’s primary holder on field goals and extra point attempts. Anaya made all 43 of his extra point attempts in 2023, and hit 13 of his 18 field goal attempts with a long of 42 yards.
DL Dierre Kelly also entered on Wednesday, following four years in orange and brown. The Gary, Ind. product had 54 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 7.5 tackles for loss since 2021.
QB Camden Orth hopped into the portal on Dec. 5 after totaling 864 yards on 58.4% (73/125) passing, with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, adding 259 yards and six touchdowns on 86 rushing attempts after transferring in from Long Island prior to 2022.
CB Edward Rhambo announced he would be entering the transfer portal via a post on his X account on Dec. 5. Rhambo, who transferred in from Northern Arizona before this past season, had 22 tackles, three pass breakups, and an interception across eight games.
