Bowling Green will take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves in the 68 Ventures Bowl on Dec. 26, the College Football Selection Committee announced today.
The game will be played at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
This will be the Orange and Brown’s fourth appearance in the 68 Ventures Bowl, earning two bids when it was still the GMAC Bowl, and another bid when it was the GoDaddy Bowl.
They are 1-2 overall, with their lone win coming in 2004 when they topped the Memphis Tigers 52-35. Omar Jacobs was the game’s MVP.
Head coach Scot Loeffler is still searching for the first bowl win of his career and will potentially be down his top rusher and tackler, with Terion Stewart and Joseph Sipp in the transfer portal.
