Bowling Green women’s soccer forward Alaina Uncapher announced that she has transferred to Troy via Instagram earlier on Wednesday.
The redshirt sophomore returned to form in 2024 after sitting out the 2023 season, earning six points, tied for fifth most on the squad after earning an identical six points from one goal and four assists in her freshman season in 2022.
Uncapher scored two goals in 2024 that came in two of the Falcons’ seven 2024 victories, the first in a 2-0 road victory against Cleveland State and the second coming in BG’s MAC opener against Ball State.
After surpassing the 1000 career-minute mark the past season, Uncapher will head nearly 800 miles south to Troy, Alabama, to play for the Troy University Trojans.
The Trojans finished with a 5-9-3 overall record and a 1-7-2 conference record while playing in the Sun Belt in 2024, earning them last place out of 14 teams in the conference.
